The visit focused on understanding the program’s training approach and the transformative journey of rural women becoming skilled solar technicians. Ms. Goswami toured the training centre, interacted with the Solar Didis, trainers, and master trainers, and learned firsthand about the participants’ experiences. The trainees shared how the program is equipping them with technical knowledge, practical skills, and hands-on experience, empowering them to become confident leaders in the renewable energy sector.
The discussions also covered our training methodology, technical curriculum, learning modules, and the tools used throughout the program. We were pleased to share our training framework and exchange ideas on strengthening the initiative.
A key highlight of the visit was the discussion on creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for the Solar Didis after the completion of their training. Conversations explored how stronger collaboration with Panchayati Raj Institutions and other relevant departments can help connect trained women with meaningful employment opportunities and ensure long-term impact.
We sincerely thank Ms. Priyanka Goswami for her visit, valuable insights, and continued encouragement. Together, we remain committed to empowering rural women through technical education, clean energy, and sustainable livelihoods.
